The State of Our World: An Akashic Perspective

We are in a time of fast paced and great change as humans on this planet, and it can feel every way from unsettling to exciting. The challenges we face are real, and can bring up questions that are difficult to answer. Over the last several months, relevant to ongoing wars around the world as well as the changing of the US government's leadership in particular, I have had several Akashic and bodywork clients ask me what the Akasha has to reveal about our current reality and the future that we are moving into as a collective. This has inspired me to create a live event, offered to an intimate group in a virtual format, to explore these very questions.

On Saturday, March 29 from 9-10:30am, I will invite your questions and provide the answers the Akasha has to share. This unique event will no doubt be a deep and meaningful excavation of our current reality and the roles we each play in it, providing insight and guidance unavailable in more common states of consciousness. **Please note: This event is limited to 15 participants, and I expect it to fill quickly.

I’m excited to announce, after popular demand, Embodied Awareness, my most popular and longest running meditation series, now has a level two! I developed this series to offer a different perspective and approach to meditation: Instead of trying to master a technique, or try to make something stop happening (like thoughts), what if we instead focused on coming fully into ourselves and exploring what’s there, witnessing and practicing acceptance of what is?

If you feel challenged by emotional or “negative” mental patterns, physical pain, communication, feelings of distraction or inability to focus, anxiety, depression or a lack of authentic and deep connection to yourself, others and your life, the Embodied Awareness Meditation Series will help. Read on for details!

Cultivating Creative Flow: The Power of Ritual

Be it writing, art, music, performance or any other creative path, we all know, one of the hardest parts of doing our creative work is being consistent with our practice. Devoting ourselves to our work daily can feel easy and wonderful when we are in the flow, but when that flow is elusive or we are bogged down by life, and grappling with the part of us that is a bottomless pit of excuses, it can be tough. Developing a ritual can help.

Ritual is has been a natural and reliable part of the creative process for successful writers, artists, musicians, problem solvers and high achievers through out history. More than just a routine, a personal ritual is intentionally curated and implemented based on a person's own individual lifestyle, affinities, inspirations and beliefs that when used consistently, offers a dependable way to illicit the shift in focus and mindset necessary to do our creative work, at anytime, in any place, regardless of external circumstances or unhelpful thought pattens. Building a personal and empowering ritual into your writing practice will usher in the right conditions for flow to emerge as it taps into and harnesses the mindset and feeling tone that we relate to doing our own best work.

In this series of workshops, we will explore what ritual is (and what it doesn't have to be), how it differs from routine, and why it works. Through a combination of solo exercises, experiential examples and group discussion, participants will become familiar with which elements, channels of perception and types of inspiration speak most personally to them and leave with a plan to continue building and implementing their own personal ritual, as a step towards consistently finding the creative flow needed to do the work.

This workshop was presented as part of a 30 day project incubator with the Herstories Project. I will be offering it as a stand alone class in the coming months. Details to come!

Embodied Awareness Level I

This is a six week long meditation series, offered via zoom. All times listed are EST.

Not just any old meditation group, the Embodied Awareness series provides a rich experience of exploration and discovery through guided and silent meditations, thoughtful and engaging discussion, and supportive weekly emails filled with suggested practices, experiments and insightful reading. Over six weeks, we will explore the ways that directing our awareness into our physical bodies, cultivating a grounded presence and noticing what’s there in any moment, can shift the way we experience and perceive, and therefore respond to, our day to day lives.

Each week, we practice getting out of our minds and into our bodies, to practice allow and be with whatever is coming up for us at the time. I will discuss an aspect of embodied awareness, guide the group into a deep and grounded state of embodiment, and as we progress each week, a more expanded state of awareness. I will include a healing energy transmission to help support and integrate your practice. Afterward, I’ll offer space for reflection and conversation amongst the group. Weekly follow-up emails provide a recording of the meditation and discussion for your keeping, and suggested activities, tips and tools for further exploration of these topics on your own.

For anyone looking to establish, re-establish or deepen a meditation or mindfulness practice, Embodied Awareness offers support.

Prerequisite: Ability to sit still for 20 to 30 minutes. All levels welcome.

Each session will run between 60 and 75 minutes.

This series will be offered via Zoom on Tuesdays at 6:30pm EST.

Next session begins March 4, 2025!

Cost is $99. Pre-registration is required. Click a button to the left to sign up!

Embodied Awareness Level II

In this next level, we'll go deeper and wider with our experience and understanding of ourselves as pure awareness, and of our embodiment. At this level, we are introducing more and more stillness into our practice, attuning to our individual experience: the thoughts and feelings that reveal truths about our needs, the ways we accept or reject ourselves and/or our experiences, the innate wholeness of our being.

This naturally brings up thoughts and questions about the nature of reality and our place in it. We’ll have those discussions.

This group experience will involve 30 to 40 minutes of silent meditation in an amplified group field, along with a healing energy transmission to support integration of your learning and experience in the session. We will have 15-30 minutes for discussion and Q&A, where we can share our experience, discuss challenges or revelations, and explore the nature of reality.

Pre-requisite: Embodied Awareness Level I and curiosity around the stuff of life and the limitations and responsibilities of being a part of it all.

Each session will run between 60 and 75 minutes.

This series will be offered via Zoom on Tuesdays at 6:30pm EST.

Next session begins April 22, 2025!

Cost is $99. Pre-registration is required. Click a button below to sign up!
